Time for an update! Life is hectic with 2 girls. Believe it or not, Clíona [klē ō na] has reached her third birthday! We also had a new arrival in March. As the anesthesiologist put it Danae [də nā] chose the 18th so she could party for 2 straight days. Despite Clíona keeping Brendan and I busy, I earned a second degee in Nursing from The University of Alabama AT BIRMINGHAM. Commencement was December 2003. UAB is quite different from Arizona in campus size, layout and student population. It was nice to have professors who actually knew my name and still remember me after graduation. I also made Presidential Honors 3 times (semesters with 4.0 GPA) and the Dean's List 5 times during my coursework. In May, I started working for a private practice pediatricians' office.
My four four-legged children feel even more neglected since Danae's arrival. I havent much time for hobbies either, so I still cant rollerblade well. And I have a million cross-stitch projects to do... The sewing machine came in handy so I could have custom made-kid friendly scrubs for work. Of course I have only managed to get one pair of mittens and a cap made for Clíona so far. The next project to tackle is cargo pants for Brendan.
I am still trying to research my family history along with Brendan's, but have not made much progress.
